“I Will Build My Church” is the first sermon in the series I Will Build My Church. Pastor Kenny started this series reminding us that Jesus loves HIS church and that He is going to build HIS church, HIS workmanship, and is purposed to finish what He started and bring her to maturity.
“Formation Of The Church” is the second sermon in the series “I Will Build My Church”. Pastor Kenny called us to consider some things about the early church that we should incorporate into our personal lives and the corporate life of the church; things like obedience to Jesus’ directions, giving themselves to the Kingdom of God and devoting themselves to prayer to advance the Kingdom of God.
“Birth Of The Church” is the third sermon in the series “I Will Build My Church”. Pastor Kenny reminds us that the Holy Spirit is the one makes the birth, life and mission of the church possible; and that the Holy Spirit comes to fill and empower each and every believer, baptizing them into the body of Christ and working in them to be a functional member of the local church.
“Kingdom Community” is the fourth sermon in the series “I Will Build My Church”. Pastor Kenny reminds us of the devotion of the early church; devotion to the apostle’s teaching, fellowship or koinonia, break bread and prayer. He called us to devote ourselves to the same and we would be transformed by His Spirit to be the community He desires us to be.
“Belonging To The Church” is the fifth sermon in the series “I Will Build My Church”. Pastor Kenny calls us to be functional members of the local church. He reminds us that each of us is a member of Jesus’ body and that we each belong to Him and each other and that we are called to use our gifts and function in the role God places us so the body will be built up and mature into the community He desires.
“A More Excellent Way” is the sixth sermon in the series “I Will Build My Church”. Pastor Kenny reminds us that the gifts of the Spirit are to function with love and as we the body of Christ come to gather and function in the gifts and love together we, the body of Christ, become a living expression of Jesus for people to experience the Love of God.
