Run With Endurance The Race

In this message, Run With Endurance The Race, Kenny is in Hebrews 12:1-3, He shares how this walk of faith is not a short distance sprint but a long distance race and that God wants us to not only finish the race but finish it well. He shares some examples from chapter 11 where the author speaks about the Old Testament heroes of the faith who had their eyes on the future which enabled them to finish their race well. He also shares Jesus’ example who for the joy se before him endured the cross.

Ephesians – Part 12

This is part 12 in a teaching series on Ephesians. In this episode Kenny finishes up in Ephesians 2:11-22 and ties the ideas of the one new man, the one body and the temple of God together. The focus in this episode is on God’s intention in Christ that we the church, God’s people, would be built together to be the temple of God, that we would become God’s dwelling place.

Ephesians – Part 11

This is part 11 in a teaching series on Ephesians. In this episode Kenny continues in Ephesians 2:11-22 and the focus in this episode is on God’s intention in Christ to reconcile both Jews and Gentiles to God in one body, so that through the blood of the cross, God would make peace between us and Him and us with each other. This would mean that both Jewish and Gentile believers were equal members of God’s household.

This is part 10 in a teaching series on Ephesians. In this episode Kenny continues in Ephesians 2:11-22 and the focus in this episode is on God’s intention of creating one new man. Kenny describes how there can be these internal walls or barriers to unity and what Christ has done to remove the barriers to the church becoming unified.

Ephesians – Part 9

This is part 9 in a teaching series on Ephesians. In this episode Kenny starts into Ephesians 2:11-22 and the focus in this episode is on explaining some of the mystery that Paul mentions in Ephesians 1:7-9. Paul makes a point to single out the Gentiles in this section so that both Jewish believers and Gentile believers can understand God’s intentions to make the Gentile equal members of God’s household and the body of Christ.

This is part 8 in a teaching series on Ephesians. Kenny finishes up on Ephesians 2:1-10. The focus in the episode is looking at verses 8-10 and Paul’s statement that we are God’s workmanship craeated in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared in advance for us to walk in. Kenny gives some ideas of what the works are that we are called to walk in, from character and values to supernatural works like healing the sick.

The focus in the episode is looking at verses 4-7 from God’s perspective and why it is important to understand this. We have a new identity and new position in Christ and God saved us so that we could walk in that new identity and new position all to the praise and glory of God.

In Ephesians 2:1-10 Paul tells them how the power of God, that was at work in raising Jesus from the dead in the past, was the power at work in us in the past, is also now at work in us in the present, and will continue to work in us in the future to transform us to be like Jesus.

This is part 2 in a teaching series on Ephesians. Kenny begins a discussion on some of the various aspects of Ephesians 1:3-14. He starts with the spiritual blessings God the father has given us and then shares how this reveals the disposition of the Father’s heart to be benevolent toward us. He shares how Paul is contrasting the various Pagan gods these believers would have been familiar with to our heavenly Fathering hopes that the believers would be grounded in the great love and grace of the Father.

According To The Counsel Of His Will

In this message, According To Counsel Of His Will, Kenny uses the stories of the Apostle Paul’s conversion, Ananias going to Paul, and of the gospel spreading throughout all Asia from Ephesus to draw our attention to the sovereignty of God and that he is working all things according to the council of His will. He then pulls that truth into our day for us to see God is still at work and that we need to be faithful to what God has called us to be and do so that He becomes famous through us.

Ephesians – Part 1

This is part 1 in a teaching series on Ephesians. Kenny gives us an introduction to this letter the Apostle Paul has written starting with Ephesians 1:1-2. He gives us some background on the Apostle Paul and the church at Ephesus along with some of the cultural and religious culture of the time of the writing. This will help in interpreting and understanding this letter so we can apply it to our life in our day. He will try to produce an episode a week with each being about 30 minutes long. This episode is a bit longer, about 49 minutes, so that he can get all the background information in one episode.
