He reminds us that just as we can not save ourselves neither can we keep ourselves. We need to continual live in dependence on our loving Father and humble ourselves and cry out to Him and he is ready and willing to come to our aid.

Jesus is not just giving us a new title to address the Father by but wanting to understand how we should know and relate to the Father and understand how He sees us and relates to us as His beloved children.
