He shares about the contrast metaphors John uses of light and darkness as John starts to give some guidelines for maturing and deepening the fellowship, or koinonia, we have with God and each other. He also shares some things John gives as warnings to undermining having fellowship with God and each other.
This teaching is part 1 of the series on 1 John. Kenny begins a new series in the first letter of John and he gives us some background information to better understand John’s letter. Then he goes through 1 John 1:1-4, the introduction of the letter, with a focus on of fellowship we are to have with God, the father, and Jesus, the Son.
